About this role
We currently have an immediate-start opportunity for a Despatch FLM3 to join our AM team at our Flixton site near Bungay. Rate of pay: £616.78 Weekly Working hours: 6:00am–6:00pm 4 on 4 off As a Despatch FLM3, you will support the effective coordination of the despatch operation, ensuring that customer orders are scanned, documented and despatched correctly. Your key responsibilities will include: • Ensuring all delivery notes and load plans are available, accurate and signed.
• Regularly checking Scanplant to confirm that all loads have been scanned and despatched against the correct orders. • Ensuring finished goods leave the site with the correct documentation. • Checking that despatched products meet customer requirements and relevant legislative standards. • Maintaining accurate despatch records and resolving documentation discrepancies. • Coordinating with warehouse, production and transport colleagues to support an efficient despatch operation.
• Identifying and escalating scanning, loading, documentation or product issues promptly. • Ensuring all health and safety, food-safety, hygiene and quality procedures are followed. • Maintaining and helping to improve departmental systems and processes. • Providing practical, hands-on support within the warehouse and despatch areas when required. Previous export, despatch, logistics or transport-administration experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential as training will be provided.
We are looking for candidates who: • Have strong administration and organisational skills. • Can complete and check paperwork accurately. • Are confident using computerised systems or willing to learn systems such as Scanplant. • Have excellent communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach. • Can coordinate effectively with warehouse, manufacturing and transport teams. • Can manage several priorities within a fast-paced working environment.
• Have excellent attention to detail and can identify errors or discrepancies. • Can work independently while contributing positively to the wider team. • Are willing to wear the required personal protective equipment while working within warehouse and manufacturing areas. • Have an understanding of transport, export or logistics compliance, although this is desirable rather than essential. Previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing, freight, food-production or transport environment would also be beneficial.
