Designer Working Student - Employer Branding
About this role
In a nutshell We’re looking for a Designer Working Student to help bring Picnic’s people, culture and opportunities to life. You’ll join our Employer Branding team and help shape how candidates experience Picnic, with a particular focus on our LinkedIn page and campaigns. You’ll create and edit visual content for our employer brand, combining design and video to tell stories that catch people’s attention. You’ll also take ownership of the processes behind our LinkedIn campaigns: helping plan content, coordinate assets, publish posts and keep campaigns running smoothly.
From a first idea to the final edit and post, you’ll help make sure our content feels distinctive, engaging and true to Picnic. You’ll work with colleagues across Employer Branding and our wider Creative team of 20+ specialists, including designers, videographers and copywriters. Together, you’ll make content that reaches candidates across the Netherlands, France and Germany. Tricks of the trade Create employer brand content: Design and edit visuals and videos for Picnic’s LinkedIn page, campaigns and other employer branding channels.
Own LinkedIn campaign processes: Help plan campaign content, coordinate the assets and timelines, publish posts and keep the process organised from start to finish. Bring stories to life: Turn ideas, interviews and raw footage into clear, engaging content that shows what it’s like to work at Picnic. Adapt content for different formats: Resize and refine designs and edits for different channels and placements, while keeping the look and message consistent.
Support the creative process: Work with Employer Branding and Creative colleagues to develop ideas, gather feedback and deliver content on time. Learn and improve: Keep an eye on how content performs and use what you learn to help improve future posts and campaigns. Your superpowers You’re currently studying Visual Design, Graphic Design, Communication, Media, or a similar creative field. You’re excited by both visual design and video editing, and keen to work across formats.
You have a portfolio or examples of your creative work that show a good eye for detail and a feel for visual storytelling. You have experience with, or are keen to develop your skills in, tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects. Familiarity with Figma is a plus. You’re organised and comfortable taking ownership of a process, managing details and following through on deadlines. You’re proactive, open to feedback and happy to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced environment.
