The Role As a Data Scientist, you will be a valued technical contributor in our Data Science Products team and in the Data, Analytics and AI organisation of Arrive. The Data Science Products team ingests billions of complex sensor data points daily to produce advanced machine learning products that help millions of drivers park or charge electric vehicles.
For example, we predict the availability of parking in cities across the world and provide drivers with routes that reduce the time they will spend searching for a space near their destination. This is a data science role focused on building and improving production modelling products. We are looking for a skilled data scientist who combines strong mathematical foundations with the ability to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.
You will contribute to our modelling approaches and work closely with data scientists and engineers to follow good technical practice. How to make an impact - Develop New Products: Contribute to projects that solve business challenges relevant to parking, EV charging, and journey routing. This includes conducting in-depth analysis of new data sources, and researching, implementing and testing potential modelling approaches.
- Enhance Existing Products: Build on products already in production, improving their performance through iterative development and rigorous experimentation. - Ship Production-Quality Code: Write high-quality code and contribute to the pipelines in our production codebase, deploying scalable products in collaboration with our engineers. - Advance Modelling Practices: Develop new skills and enhance our services and ways of working by researching and implementing relevant approaches or technologies, particularly around statistical and machine learning techniques.
