Data Operations Analyst
About this role
Data Operations Analyst delivers one of the processes necessary to create a database or report for our clients (top FMCG companies and retailers). The processes include validating the data, setting up the database, coding products by providing characteristics and managing data samples. Responsibilities Conducting processes that lead to a creation of a database according to the clients’ requirements; Adding new products and characteristics to the database, validating the correctness of received data, identify outliers in the trends, and ensure proper corrections are made where appropriate; Archive and supply product catalogues, product lists, and barcode lists from manufacturers, websites, leaflets, and/or from the field for ad-hoc projects or categories under focus; Execute production activities of the assigned panel/industry in collaboration with other operational teams; Follow and monitor Data file flow; Create and maintain process documentation; Maintain statistical samples and expansion factors to ensure an accurate representation of the universe; Investigate data inquiries and identify problems with local teams.
Determine root causes as well as short and long-term resolutions; Be aware of newly launched or relaunched products provided by the system and keep an eye on the reality of the shelf vs the product provided by the product coding platform.
