About this role

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: Specialized Experience for the GS-13, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: - Identifying and analyzing data and systems that are necessary for auditors, evaluators, and investigators to complete their mission-critical work; AND - Working with other IT officials to resolve barriers to accessing data and systems; AND - Preparing policies, procedures, and relevant training for analyzing and managing data and system access; AND - Experience with the IRS tax processing systems and the data housed on the systems to facilitate gaining access to sensitive tax information for audit, inspection and evaluation, and investigation execution and data analysis purposes.

Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
