This role will focus on leading and managing CDD (Customer Due Diligence) and Compliance Assessments for our clients. The Role: As a Corporate Onboarding Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and executing CDD & Compliance Assessments for our clients. You’ll be part of our First Line Operations function, responsible for mitigating risks related to our services as an Electronic Money Institution. Your primary focus will be on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and Sanctions control, while also ensuring compliance with broader business objectives such as proposition and FCA Consumer Duty.
Specifically, this role operates in line with UK regulatory requirements, including the Money Laundering Regulations 2017, JMLSG Guidance, and FCA expectations. Given the ever-evolving regulatory landscape, we’re looking for someone with a sharp, inquisitive mindset, ready to dive deep into compliance and regulatory matters. In this growing team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and implement best practices for a market-leading compliance function.
Key Responsibilities Client Risk Assessments: Perform detailed risk assessments for corporate clients. Corporate Onboarding & CDD: Execute Customer Due Diligence, including Simplified and Enhanced Due Diligence. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance. PEP & Sanction Screening: Screen clients for Politically Exposed Persons and Sanctioned Individuals, including screening against UK financial sanctions lists administered by the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) and HM Treasury.
