Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Experience with contracting principles, policies, and procedures related to Construction. Demonstrated leadership experience as a contracting professional achieving program results across complex and diverse organizations, ensuring the office's mission and objectives are met. Experience with business practices and market conditions as applicable. Experience with applying contract price/cost analysis techniques to a variety of pre-award and/or post-award procurement actions.
Experience leading junior contract specialists. Desired Work Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution or at least 24 semester hours of course work in business management topics. Experience with architecture & construction contracting. Experience with construction contract administration of multiple solicitations/awards at one given time. Experience with all phases of the contracting process.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other related software as required.
