CONTRACT SPECIALIST

About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate: At the DA-03 Level: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05-08) or pay band (DA-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Contract Specialist. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Entering data into automated systems and reviewing transactions to ensure data is correct; (2) Preparing written requirements; and (3) Reading and interpreting guidance and policies.

At the DA-02 Level: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-01-04) or pay band (DA-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Contract Specialist. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Reviewing transactions to ensure data is correct; (2) Gathering and analyzing data to maintain logs, preparing reports and documents; and (3) Communicating effectively in writing.
