CONTRACT OFFICER REPRESENTATIVE
About this role
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GG-13 level.
The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of the full range of federal contracting laws, regulations, policies, practices, methods, and contract types; qualitative and quantitative analytical methods and the ability to apply this knowledge to complex problems of broad scope; understanding of J-32/JISROC CCA missions, goals, and objectives, business and strategic plans, etc; demonstrated skill in communicating, both orally and in writing; writing clear and concise products; presenting and arguing for a position effectively; and delivering written and verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes; knowledge and experience coordinating joint actions across CCMD, Military Service, Joint Staff Directorate, and Office of Secretary of Defense staffs to perform varied tasks associated with coordinating input, tracking status, reporting on issues, and developing recommendations/solutions to assist senior decision making; ability to conduct detailed analysis of contracting requirements to develop feasible courses of action and identify optimal sourcing recommendations and ability to analyze all aspects of a complex and contentious issue; think creatively to develop and implement new methods, approaches, processes and/or procedures to effectively address problems.
Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1.
