Content Marketing Manager
About this role
About Product VyOS is an open-source network operating system that provides an all-in-one platform for network management. Built on Linux, VyOS integrates powerful routing, firewall, VPN, and network services into a unified system. Unlike traditional networking hardware, VyOS can be deployed on a wide range of platforms, from physical routers and cloud environments to virtual machines, giving users flexibility and control over their network infrastructure.
The key strength of VyOS lies in its comprehensive feature set. It supports dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP), multiple VPN types (IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard), firewall rules, traffic shaping, and more - all configured through a unified command-line interface (CLI) familiar to network engineers. Its ability to scale across various environments makes it popular with organizations seeking open-source networking solutions.
Job description The Content Marketing Manager owns the content lifecycle end-to-end: planning, writing, editing, publishing, and measuring. Today, content publication at VyOS requires a web developer; this role closes that gap. The Content Marketing Manager works directly in the headless CMS (DatoCMS) and blog platform (HubSpot), turning drafts, customer interviews, and product updates into published pages without engineering involvement, executing the content strategy, messaging, and campaign priorities set by the Head of Marketing.
Reports to: Head of Marketing. Responsibilities Content production and publishing Run the content production and publication calendar across all web properties: main website (DatoCMS), blog (HubSpot), and social channels, executing against priorities set with the Head of Marketing. Write and edit blog posts, product/solution pages, landing pages, and email content. Draft press releases to the Head of Marketing's messaging; final messaging and release approval stay with the Head of Marketing.
Publish and maintain content directly in DatoCMS using the Marketing Editor role: create records, manage assets, use draft/preview workflow, publish. No coding required; schema changes remain with the web development team. Own the customer Success Story pipeline: interview coordination, drafting, customer approval loop, publication (landing page + PDF + social announcement). Content operations Act as the marketing-side owner of CMS content quality: image sizing and alt text, metadata, slugs, structured fields, internal linking.
