These initiatives come with complex challenges. Target architectures must be aligned across brands, domains, and numerous stakeholders while remaining stable over time. Legacy systems must be replaced in a structured way while business operations continue uninterrupted. At the same time, software-centric development approaches are changing established processes and responsibilities.
