As a global leader in Open Banking Payments, we are establishing Pay by Bank as the new standard at checkout, providing unparalleled freedom, speed, and ease to millions of consumers and merchants worldwide. Our Ambition: To build the world’s most disruptive payment network and redefine what the payment experience should feel like.
Trustly is a global team of innovators, collaborators, and doers. If you are driven by a strong sense of purpose and thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment, join us and be part of a team that’s transforming the way the world pays. ABOUT THE ROLE Trustly is looking for a motivated and experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to support the development and day-to-day running of the regulatory compliance programme for Trustly in Europe.
Trustly’s European business operates primarily through Trustly Group AB (TGAB), a licensed payment institution based in Stockholm and supervised by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen). TGAB provides account-to-account and open banking payment services across Europe, which places us squarely within a fast-moving and heavily regulated industry. Reporting to the EU/UK Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), the Compliance Manager will support the CCO and the TGAB Compliance Director in executing Trustly’s regulatory compliance strategy.
You will implement and manage end-to-end compliance domain programs, including obligations and control mapping, policies and standards, training and advice. Operating within a three-lines-of-defence model, the Compliance Manager will help provide TGAB's Board and Management Team with the reporting they need to exercise effective oversight of compliance operations for the entity. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Implement the Compliance Operating Model, as owner, for one or more compliance domains (for example Safeguarding, Consumer Outcomes, Outsourcing etc), and as a key contributor to other domain programs.
- Run the domain’s rhythm of business: maintain the governance calendar, support the programme Steering Committee, and make sure each model component is delivered and reported on schedule. - Maintain the domain’s Risk Register, Key Obligations Register and policy and standards suite, with clear owners, approval records and review cycles. - Prepare the domain’s input to the annual Risk Appetite brief and recommendations for the Board, working with Enterprise Risk Management.
