About this role

Veterans Community Occupational Therapist Location: Remote working We have two positions available – one based in the North of England and one based in the South of England. North: Preferably based in North-West England, including Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Blackpool and surrounding areas. South: Preferably based in Salisbury or the surrounding areas. We are open to candidates who live further afield, where the location is within a reasonable travelling distance for the community-based requirements of the role.

Both positions involve community-based travel as part of the role, as well as occasional UK-wide travel to attend face-to-face clinical and wider team meetings (approximately 4–5 times per year). We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterans Community Occupational Therapist to join the Services team at Help for Heroes and play a key role in supporting veterans and their families to access the right clinical and functional support, helping them live well after service.

About the Role As a Veterans Community Occupational Therapist, you will: Provide community-based occupational therapy input to veterans, supporting their physical health, independence and day-to-day functioning. Work with veterans and, where appropriate, their families and support networks to assess needs and identify practical, person-centred solutions. Support veterans to navigate healthcare and support pathways, promoting independence and wellbeing.
