About this role
About us CoderPush is a remote-first technology company that partners with startups and global businesses to build scalable, high-quality software products. We focus on long-term collaboration, clear communication, and delivering real impact through strong engineering and product thinking. Please find more at: https://coderpush.com/ About the Role You will manage AWS environments for our clients and internal teams, and work with Sales and Account Managers to design the right AWS solutions for client needs.
The role is about 50% hands-on (managing systems and learning new AWS technology) and 50% client-facing (meetings, solution design, cost proposals and workshops). What You Will Do Hands-on (~50%) Manage client and internal AWS environments across multiple accounts: Organizations, IAM, networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN), security services, backup and patching. Manage infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK) and CI/CD; monitor, troubleshoot and handle incidents.
Track and reduce AWS costs: budgets, choosing the right resource sizes, Savings Plans / Reserved Instances. Keep up with new AWS services, try them out and build proofs of concept (PoC) before using them in projects. Maintain reusable templates, standard architecture designs and operation guides. Client-facing (~50%) Join client meetings with Sales / Account Managers to understand business and technical needs. Design suitable AWS solutions, choosing services that fit the requirements and budget, and present them to clients.
Prepare cost estimates (AWS Pricing Calculator), compare options and help prepare proposals. Review client systems against AWS best practices (Well-Architected) and suggest improvements for security, reliability and cost. Run workshops and training sessions for clients and our delivery team. What We Are Looking For 3+ years managing live (production) systems on AWS. Solid knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch.
Solid understanding of networking, Linux and cloud security fundamentals. Hands-on infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred) and scripting (Python or Bash). Experience estimating and optimizing AWS costs. Confident in client meetings: collecting requirements, presenting solutions and running workshops or demos; good written and spoken English. Enjoys learning new AWS services and technologies. Strong understanding of information security and technology governance, with experience ensuring engineering practices follow company security policies and ISO 27001-aligned procedures.
