Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Basic Requirement Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering. The program must: lead to a degree in a school with at least one program accredited by ABET.

OPM General Schedule Qualification Standards - GS-0800 Series - https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#0800 In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Minimum Qualifications for GS-12: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing and enforcing contract requirements, performing construction quality assurance, reviewing contractor technical submittals to ensure alignment with contract terms and regulatory safety standards, and reviewing project plans and specifications prior to contract advertisement to evaluate constructability, resolve scheduling conflicts, or coordinate requirement among stakeholders.

This definition of specialized experience is typical work performed at the next lower grade/level (GS-11 or equivalent) position in the federal service.
