Splendido Mare, A Belmond Hotel, part of the LVMH Group, is a charming guesthouse in the heart of the Portofino. Its celebrated restaurant, DaV Mare, embodies all the pleasures of piazzetta living through refined cuisine, curated in partnership with the 3-Michelin-star Cerea family. Awash with nautical spirit, our gem on the Italian Riviera celebrates the art of Ligurian living in its purest form. We are looking for a Chef de Rang to join our DaV Mare team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges.He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community. He/she will report to the Restaurant Manager. Main duties & responsibilities: Fullfil the operations of the Food & Beverage on DaV Restaurant, according to the Company policies, high standards and procedures; Monitor all aspects of the customers' experience, from the restaurant layout before they arrive to the experience they receive during the service.

Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate Guests’ needs; Establish and maintain good relationships with all Guests and handle requests and enquiries; Coordinate and monitor Commis de Rang assigned to him/her; Contribute to the achievement of the economic targets of the outlet. Requirements Fluent in English and Italian; a third language preferred; Previous professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment or fine dining restaurant; Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally; Effective communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability; Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player.
