We are seeking experienced Carpenters for Kitchen and Bathroom renewal projects within the social housing sector across Stevenage. This role is ideal for self‑employed carpenters looking for steady, long-term work on a well‑organised programme in occupied properties. What You’ll Be Doing Kitchen fitting and Bathroom carpentry works Installing Kitchen units (approx. 6–12 units per day ) Fitting worktops and worksurfaces Installing fire doors (door only, no frame) Upgrading door hinges and handles Installing architraves and skirting Installing bath frames and bath panels Installing plywood and wooden boxing Building stud walls Working alongside other trades to meet programme targets What You’ll Get Price work with the potential to earn good money Consistent, long-term work Prompt payments PPE provided Referral scheme – £2,000 per recommendation (T&Cs apply) CSCS card Experience in domestic/social housing NVQ Level 2 (preferred) Basic H&S certifications (especially asbestos awareness) Right to work in the UK Own tools (110v or battery-operated) Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (van preferred) Good conversational English Reliable, organised, and able to work to deadlines Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality United Infrastructure delivers essential infrastructure services across utilities and social infrastructure, supporting some of the UK’s largest network operators and housing providers.
