About this role

C# Developer - Redis London (Hybrid, 3 Days On-Site) Talan is looking for a talented and driven C# Redis Developer to join a high-performing team in London. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week on-site, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge financial systems within a global markets environment. You will play a key role in building and enhancing a distributed, real-time P&L and risk analytics platform used by Fixed Income Rates and FX trading desks globally.

This system delivers predictive and live P&L insights, supporting critical trading decisions across international markets. Working closely with developers, traders, and quantitative teams, you’ll contribute across the full development lifecycle from design and implementation to optimisation and deployment. What You’ll Be Doing Developing and maintaining scalable .NET/C# services within a distributed streaming architecture Building and supporting real-time data processing systems for P&L and risk analytics Working on out-of-process services, system integrations, and data materialisation layers Driving Agile best practices, including test-driven development (TDD) and automation Collaborating with global teams across EMEA, NY, and APAC Taking ownership of features and proactively proposing improvements Troubleshooting issues and helping unblock cross-team dependencies Essential Skills & Experience Strong expertise in C# / .NET development Experience with Redis Cluster Solid understanding of TDD and automated testing Experience with CI/CD pipelines Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies Passion for automation, simplicity, and continuous improvement Strong grounding in computer science fundamentals and design patterns Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset Desirable Skills Experience with distributed systems, streaming, and messaging (e.g.
