Budget Officer

About this role

To qualify for this position, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal Service (experience may have been gained in the private sector). Specialized experience is defined as: Utilizing knowledge of the budget process and financial management practices and procedures, rules and regulations to conduct analyses of financial, budgetary and programmatic data that includes: managing a team of budget analysts by monitoring work quality and providing technical guidance; developing and preparing budgetary information, summaries, and tables to respond to requests and to facilitate the formulation, presenting executing and analyses of an organization's budget; drafting analyses which evaluates the impact and significance to the organization's budget for new or revised policies, procedures, and program requirements.
