Budget Analyst
About this role
You may qualify at the NH 03 Broadband Level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS11 grade level in the Federal service as listed below and must meet 2 of 3 specialized experience listed below to be qualified: Experience supporting financial management execution (Spend plans, funding documents, multiple appropriation types, trend analysis), Foreign Military Sales (FMS)/Security Assistance Accounts (SAA) Case funding and execution, reviewing Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) and other Foreign Military Sales (FMS) financial related activities.
Experience in applying SAA and FMS appropriation characteristics, policies, and fiscal law to plan, program, budget, and execute financial resources; using automated data processing concepts in order to coordinate financial activities, ensure compliant documentation and reporting, reconcile and analyze data, and support effective funds execution across multiple partner nations and diverse program requirements. Experience working with and/or across functional organizations, stakeholders, and/or federal agencies.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
