About this role
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Managing budget execution and funds control activities across complex grant and contract portfolios to ensure obligations align with appropriations law and prevent over-obligation of funds.
Analyzing and monitoring financial data and budget authority levels across multiple funding streams to support accurate forecasting, informed decision-making, and compliance with 0MB, Treasury, and agency requirements. Developing and implementing funding allocations, ceilings, and operating plans to control the distribution and use of funds in alignment with program priorities and statutory requirements. Preparing and presenting budgetary materials and supporting materials for senior leadership and external stakeholders to communicate program funding needs and support budget formulation and oversight activities.
