About this role

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR GS09 Grade Level: Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Utilizing budget analysis functions in order to identify potential funding issues and make recommendations for resolution and/or minor reprogramming.

Compiling information and quantitative data to prepare regular and ad hoc reports that present information such as the status of funds, expenditures, and obligations. Monitoring, reviewing, and reconciling commitments, obligations and expenditures. Maintaining databases, budget systems, registers and other automated systems which record budget data and track budget activities. OR A master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR A combination of specialized experience and graduate level education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.

Preparing reoccurring and special reports and presentation materials that document and explain the status of funds, expenses, and obligations. Monitoring, reviewing, and reconciling commitments, obligations, reimbursable orders in order to assure that obligations incurred and resulting expenditure of funds are in accordance with pertinent laws and regulations. Maintaining complex databases, register, and other accounting/tracking systems to monitor and track obligations, expenditures, and the flow of funds.

OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. You must include transcripts. OR A combination of specialized experience and graduate level education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position You must include transcripts. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to gain employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. If such experience is on a part-time basis, you must provide the average number of hours worked per week as well as the beginning and ending dates of the experience so it can be fully credited.
