About this role

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience for the GS-15, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: - Advising and briefing senior leadership on counterintelligence threats, vulnerabilities, risks, investigations, operations, or emerging issues and recommending appropriate courses of action; AND - Leading, directing, or coordinating the work of counterintelligence professionals or multidisciplinary teams, including assigning priorities, providing technical guidance, reviewing work products, and ensuring organizational objectives are achieved; AND - Evaluating counterintelligence processes, programs, or operations to identify inefficiencies, capability gaps, or areas for improvement and developing recommendations to improve program effectiveness.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
