Baseband (L3) Software Design Engineer Job Summary We are looking for a Baseband (L3) Software Design Engineer to join our wireless technology development team. In this role, you will be involved in the end-to-end product development lifecycle , from feasibility study and system design to software implementation, integration, troubleshooting, and commercial deployment of eNodeB/RAN products . You will work closely with talented engineers and international teams to develop and deliver advanced wireless communication solutions used in real-world customer networks.
Key Responsibilities Participate in feasibility studies, systemization, software design, implementation, and integration of Baseband (L3) software for eNodeB/RAN products. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ software for wireless communication systems. Work with cross-functional and international teams throughout the full product development lifecycle , from prototype to commercial deployment. Apply knowledge of 3GPP, LTE, and RAN technologies to software design and development.
Develop and optimize software for multi-core deployment environments . Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues during development, integration, and customer deployment. Participate in code review, debugging, testing, and software integration using a Git/Gerrit-based development workflow . Collaborate with system engineers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality and delivery.
Support the deployment and stabilization of products in customer networks . Requirements Must Have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Wireless Communication, Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. 2+ years of professional experience in C++ software development , preferably in the telecom/wireless industry. 2+ years of software design/development experience . Strong programming skills in C++ and good understanding of general-purpose programming concepts.
Experience with multi-core software development/deployment or multi-threaded programming environments. Experience working with Git/Gerrit-based development workflows . Good understanding of software development, debugging, integration, and troubleshooting processes. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills . Nice to Have Experience in Telecommunications / Wireless Communication / RAN products. Familiarity with 3GPP standards , particularly LTE technologies .
