Aviation Technical Systems Specialist

About this role

To qualify for this position at the FV-J level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I, FG/GS-13. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is: Gathering, analyzing, and evaluating information related to programs, systems, or specific initiatives, including assessing the impact of technological, procedural, financial, or managerial factors.

Supporting the prioritization of NAS (National Airspace System) needs and communicating them to program offices for funding consideration, aligned with the objectives and goals of the ATO (Air Traffic Organization). Conducting research, facility condition index reviews, and preparing white papers or limited business case studies to support the development of requirement statements, drawing on relevant experience and technical expertise.
