SciTec has an immediate opportunity in our Boulder, CO office for an Associate / Staff Digital System Engineer (MBSE Focus) with experience in modeling requirements, use cases, interfaces, and system architectures using model-based systems engineering tools.

This engineer will be responsible for developing system models to support the development of a combined hardware/software data processing system. This work will be performed collaboratively with both customer representatives and with SciTec technical staff. Responsibilities Develop digital models of operational concepts and stakeholder needs for the operation of a MOSA architecture hosting high-performance data processing applications.

Model and support the analysis of system requirements which address identified stakeholder needs. Deliver digital modeling artifacts which support to SciTec development teams in the development of an integrated hardware/software solution. Deliver digital modeling artifacts which support documentation of the system architecture, requirements, verification status, and development roadmap Additional duties as required and assigned Requirements Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance A Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline.

Demonstrated experience in model-based systems engineering using SysML 1.x, either via academic coursework or professional experience. Familiarity with IEEE 15288 systems engineering processes Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred At least 2 years of relevant work experience in model based systems engineering. Experience with systems modeling using the Cameo family of applications.
