General Role Description Design and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance automation, efficiency, and decision-making in industrial operations Role Accountabilities · Design and implement intelligent algorithms and scalable systems that enable real-time data analysis, predictive insights, and adaptive control, as assigned · Ensure the delivery of smart, responsive technologies optimized for complex, data-intensive environments, as assigned · Write software modules to satisfy project requirements · Ensure inter-operation of software modules into overall project in collaboration with project team · Design and conduct simulations to verify the software modules satisfy project requirements · Modify existing tools, and features of new tools, that are necessary to engineer and commission products that incorporate selected technologies, as assigned · Establish and maintain effective working relationships and productive communication with parent company to facilitate cooperation and coordination in design and development planning and project execution · Provide technical support to engineering and commissioning team members · Maintain an existing software base, addressing bugs, obsolescence issues, and requested enhancements, as assigned · Identify emerging technologies that address unmet client needs or create new demand through significant performance improvements · Develop solutions that deliver measurable value to clients and establish clear competitive differentiation for the Company, as assigned General Employee Accountabilities · Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager · Give manager best advice · Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified · Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager · Exemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal Commitment · Comply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws · Recommend viable improvements proactively · Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processes Requirements · Bachelor of Science degree in Math, Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Simulation, Gaming, or equivalent via education and/or work experience · Co-op, internship, or other work experience · Demonstrated programming skills · Demonstrated innovative problem-solving skills · Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining user interfaces · Sponsorship for US work authorization is not available for this position · Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts · Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills · Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility · Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint · Proficiency in C++, C#, Python and other relevant programming languages · Availability to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes with limited notice, and with duration dependent on job assignment Preferred Qualifications · Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, such as ProfiNet, EthernetIP, ModbusTCP · Experience with secure software practices · Demonstrated knowledge of developing solutions for Windows and Linux systems · Demonstrated skills in creating human-machine interfaces and system configuration utilities · Proficiency in the Japanese and English languages, both oral and written Link to TMEIC Corporation Americas website https://www.tmeic.com/ .
