🚀 What’s the opportunity? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to step up, take ownership and grow their hospitality career. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll: Support the day-to-day running of a busy community pub. Lead from the front and set the standard for great hospitality. Coach, motivate and develop the team , helping everyone perform at their best. Build strong relationships with your team through clear and positive communication.
Take ownership of shifts and ensure every customer receives a brilliant experience. Help drive sales across food, drinks, sport and events. Make the most of the pub’s live music, sporting occasions and community events. Build strong relationships with regular customers and the local community. Maintain high standards across service, food, drink, cleanliness and safety. Support the General Manager with delivering the pub’s commercial goals.
Step up and lead the business in the General Manager’s absence. Bring new ideas and energy to help grow the business. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who doesn't just want to manage a pub — they want to make it their own. 👊 What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who: Has previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader or in a similar hospitality role. Lives and breathes hospitality and genuinely enjoys creating great customer experiences.
Is confident leading, coaching and developing a team. Has strong communication and people-management skills. Leads by example and isn't afraid to get stuck in. Understands what makes a great community pub. Has a commercial mindset and wants to grow the business. Is confident managing busy shifts and maintaining high standards. Enjoys building relationships with customers and creating an atmosphere people want to return to.
