This is your chance to become a key part of the management team and help shape the next chapter of a truly historic pub. Working alongside the General Manager, you’ll: Support the day-to-day running of a busy Mayfair pub. Lead from the front and set the standard for exceptional hospitality.

Coach, motivate and develop the team , helping people reach their potential. Build strong relationships through clear, confident and positive communication. Take ownership of shifts and ensure every customer receives a brilliant experience. Drive sales across food, drinks and key sporting occasions. Make the most of the pub’s location, customer base and busy trading environment. Build relationships with regulars, visitors and the local community.

Maintain consistently high standards across service, food, drink, cleanliness and safety. Support the General Manager in achieving the pub’s commercial goals. Step up and lead the business in the General Manager’s absence. Bring fresh ideas, energy and ambition to the pub. We want someone who is commercially minded, people-focused and hungry to progress — someone who sees the Rose & Crown as an opportunity to develop themselves while helping the business grow.

👊 What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who: Has previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader or in a similar hospitality role. Genuinely loves hospitality and takes pride in delivering great customer experiences. Has strong people-management and communication skills. Can coach, develop and motivate a team. Leads by example and isn't afraid to get stuck in. Is confident managing busy shifts and maintaining high standards.
