AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL SPECIALIST (TERMINAL)

About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Establishing and maintaining separation of aircraft, sequencing of aircraft (e.g. the time and direction of take-off and any necessary departure turns for the most efficient sequence of arrivals); 2) Planning aircraft movement and issuing instructions to pilots (i.e.

radar/tower) to establish landing sequence that assures all aircraft equitable treatment; and 3) Providing guidance on air traffic control policies and procedures.
