Aeronautical Information Specialist
About this role
To qualify at the FG/GS-14 level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FG/GS-13 level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes: Experience in the development, maintenance, and revision of terminal/enroute instrument flight procedures (IFPs); design, compilation, and maintenance of aeronautical charts, related products, and aeronautical information; ensuring IFPs are coordinated and integrated in the NAS and provide for safe operation of aircraft; experience entering and managing aeronautical information/data in Aeronautical Information Services data tools such as NEAT, AirNav, NASR, TARGETS, OAS, and/or OE/AAA; experience serving as a project manager for multidisciplinary charting and production activities; Experience with Geographic information systems, applications, and databases including ESRI, ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Pro; Experience with C# programming and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs); Demonstrates knowledge of SQL or other advanced query ability and the knowledge to apply and manage data through these methods.
