You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. GS-06: Specialized experience which includes 1) preparing documents such as correspondence and reports using automated reporting system ; AND 2) creating travel orders to include coordinating transportation arrangements for office staff.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). GS-07: Specialized experience is defined as: performing 2 out of the 3 following duties: performing 2 out of 3 of the following duties: 1) Preparing and tracking purchase request to maintain an audit trail of fund OR 2) administering purchases of supplies, equipment, and services using a credit card OR 3) performing administrative support duties such as personnel administration and property record management.

In addition to meeting experience requirements, applicants for these positions must show possession of the following skills: This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
