About this role
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience and/or education for the respective grade level in which you are applying: To qualify at the GS-09 level, you must possess: Specialized Experience: At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing three (3) of the four (4) duties listed below: Analyzing administrative support operations and recommending procedural improvements.
Assisting with facilities maintenance, space planning, telecommunications, and building access. Maintaining accountable property, key, parking, and safety records. Supporting employee transit benefits, mail, courier, and related administrative service programs. OR Education: A master's degree or equivalent graduate degree; OR 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR LL.B or J.D., in a related field (e.g., Public Administration, Operations Management, Organizational Management or Leadership, Logistics or Supply Chain Management).
Education must be obtained in an accredited college or university and demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: Applicants must possess a combination of the above-described graduate education and specialized experience such that they total 100% of the stated minimum qualifications for the GS-09 level.
Only graduate education beyond the first year (18 semester hours) may be used when combining education and experience for this option. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) To qualify at the GS-11 level, you must possess: Specialized Experience: At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing three (3) of the four (4) duties listed below: Coordinating and evaluating administrative support programs.
