About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1 ) Applying professional accounting principles, theories, and practices to analyze and resolve complex financial transactions; 2) Managing, monitoring, or reconciling accounts within a large-scale integrated financial system (such as Navy ERP or equivalent enterprise systems); 3) Conducting comprehensive general ledger reconciliations and preparing complex financial reports; 4) Applying and interpreting federal financial policies (such as DoD, Treasury, and FIAR standards) to ensure audit readiness and internal controls; and 5) Performing detailed financial analysis and translating complex data into actionable advice or briefs for senior leadership.
