[8GT] Mid-level Software Engineer (Node, Typescript, AWS)

About this role

Project - the aim you'll have As a Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in helping our client achieve our vision for the future. You'll work closely with our product management, architecture, and quality assurance teams to develop and maintain software applications that support our partners in advertising, retail, and hardware. Your focus will be on creating software that's maintainable, testable, and performant, while delivering measurable business outcomes.

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript. Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum. Experience with software development tools such as VSCode, Git, and Jira. Knowledge of software engineering best practices such as code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration, delivery (CI/CD) and Terraform. Experience with software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and ORMs. Ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of experience developing software in an Agile environment. Experience designing, building, and supporting highly scalable systems in AWS is a plus. Experience working in a fast-paced environment preferred. Bachelor's degree in computer science or any related areas of study preferred. Relevant AWS certifications are a plus.

What you'll do Develop, test, and maintain software applications using programming languages and technologies such as NodeJS and TypeScript. • Collaborate with other members of the engineering team, product management, architecture, data engineering, quality assurance, and IT groups to deliver high-quality software. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that meets coding standards and best practices. • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other members of the engineering team.
