About the Role We are looking for an Experienced Product Manager (PM) to join the Innovaccer product team. This role is ideal for someone with prior product ownership experience in B2B SaaS or healthcare technology who is ready to take end-to-end ownership of meaningful problem spaces.
As an experienced PM, you will operate as a strong product owner for defined Innovaccer modules or workflows, with limited oversight. You will drive discovery, write crisp requirements, make informed trade-offs, and ensure high-quality execution across the product lifecycle. You will partner closely with senior PMs, design, engineering, and clinical stakeholders to ship impactful features across Innovaccer modules. A Day in the Life Product Discovery & User Understanding Partner with PMs to understand user personas (care managers, clinicians, CDI specialists, population health leaders) Participate in customer interviews, shadowing, and usability testing Analyze user behavior, feedback, and support tickets to identify pain points Develop a strong understanding of healthcare workflows, value-based care, and interoperability concepts Requirements & Execution Own PRDs and user stories for defined feature areas Translate clinical and operational needs into clear, actionable requirements Work closely with engineering to clarify scope, edge cases, and acceptance criteria Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness Data & Analytics Define success metrics and acceptance criteria for features Analyze feature adoption, usage, and outcomes post-launch Use data to inform iteration, prioritization, and trade-off decisions Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with Design on UX flows, wireframes, and usability reviews Coordinate with QA, clinical SMEs, and implementation teams for validation Collaborate with Customer Success and Support during rollout and feedback collection Product Operations Maintain product documentation (PRDs, release notes, internal FAQs) Support beta programs, customer communications, and enablement content Help triage bugs and prioritize fixes based on user impact What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months) Independently owning one or more core workflows or modules Acting as the primary product owner for your area with minimal SPM oversight Shipping features that measurably improve workflow efficiency, quality, or outcomes Writing high-quality PRDs that anticipate edge cases and reduce iteration cycles Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement through data and user feedback Being a trusted partner to engineering, design, and clinical stakeholders Demonstrating strong judgment in prioritization and scope decisions What You Need 2-4 years of experience in product management, healthcare technology, or a closely related role Bachelors degree in Computer Science Demonstrated experience owning features or workflows end-to-end in a B2B SaaS product Strong ability to independently drive PRDs, user stories, and backlog prioritization Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort using data to make decisions Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for cross-functional alignment Ability to navigate ambiguity and make pragmatic scope and prioritization decisions Comfort working with metrics, dashboards, and post-launch analysis Preferred Qualifications Experience with healthcare data (EHR, claims, HEDIS, risk adjustment, CDI, care management) Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes Experience working with designers and engineers on B2B SaaS products Background in clinical workflows, population health, or value-based care Tools & Skills Product tools: Jira, Confluence, Productboard (or similar) Analytics: SQL, Amplitude, Looker, or equivalent (nice to have) Design collaboration: Figma Strong comfort with documentation and structured thinking Growth & Career Path This role is designed as a Junior PM position with a clear path to Product Manager.
