About this role
About the Role As a Product Designer-II at Innovaccer, you will own the end-to-end design process for key product features. You will work alongside product managers, engineers, and senior designers to translate complex user problems into intuitive, user-focused designs while mentoring junior designers and guiding our design principles. You will contribute to the design system by refining and expanding our design principles, ensuring consistency across all products.
You will support and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure effective and efficient design handoffs, aiming to rapidly release iterative and transformational product changes. Your design approach will be driven by data, user research, and your skills as a designer; you’ll test and refine your designs until they deliver predicted outcomes and collaborate with product managers to incorporate user feedback. Your contributions will help maintain the consistency and scalability of our design system, ensuring Innovaccer’s design approach stays aligned with the company’s broader vision.
The ideal candidate has strong UX/UI skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to lead smaller projects autonomously. You are self-sufficient and proactive at identifying problems and opportunities for improvement. You have proven experience in conducting user research, designing for complex systems, and working closely with cross-functional teams. Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure smooth design hand-offs and implementation. Identify and document key elements such as information architecture, user personas, and journey maps. Partner with product managers to gather user feedback and iteratively improve the product experience. Use data-driven insights to refine and enhance the overall user experience. Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of the design system, ensuring consistency across products.
Mentor junior designers, providing guidance on both technical and soft skills. What You Need 3+ years of product design experience A solid understanding of both UX and UI design principles Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to prioritize user experience Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools Experience working with and contributing to design systems Strong eye for interaction design and visual detail, particularly at a system level Preferred Skills U.S.
