About this role
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to maintain, enhance, and modernize a portfolio of internal business applications supporting candidate and employee lifecycle processes. This role is primarily focused on Python/Django back-end development, with additional hands-on work in Java/Spring Boot and TypeScript/React. The engineer will also help strengthen enterprise system integrations and support the evolution of applications toward AI-enabled experiences, agent-based workflows, and secure integration with enterprise data.
Enterprise experience strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and improve production applications supporting candidate and employee lifecycle workflows. - Develop and enhance back-end services using Python and Django. - Develop and support Java and Spring Boot services where required. - Build and maintain front-end functionality using TypeScript and React. - Strengthen integrations with enterprise platforms through REST APIs.
- Integrate applications with LLMs, AI assistants, agents, or other generative AI capabilities. - Implement and maintain secure authentication and authorization patterns. - Troubleshoot application defects, identify root causes, and implement reliable fixes. - Improve application scalability, security, maintainability, and user experience. - Apply appropriate controls for sensitive data, access management, auditability, and AI-enabled application behavior.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and effective JIRA practices. - Work independently and take ownership of assigned applications, features, integrations, and technical problems. - Collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. Must-Have Skills - Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django. - Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. - Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and React.
- Strong testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and bug-resolution skills. - Experience integrating applications with LLMs, AI assistants, agents, or other generative AI capabilities. - Strong experience building or integrating REST APIs. - Experience with modern authentication and authorization patterns, including OAuth 2.0, token management, scopes, and least-privilege access. - Familiarity with AI security and governance concepts, including sensitive-data handling, auditability, guardrails, and user-context versus system-context access.
